It´s not been such a long time since Blizzard announced their plans to release classic servers for the most famous MMORPG in the world, that is, World of Warcraft. It seemed like ages for all those players that want to experience again the thrill of adventuring in Azeroth like it was when the game originally launched. The game has changed quite a lot over the years, and many people really miss how it felt at the beginning. That means probably that most of us have forgotten how different it was, and it´s yet to be seen how well will it do when facing a community that is accustomed to playing a World of Warcraft that is much more accessible and quite less time consuming than the game it originally was.

Open world unsanctioned PvP, no specializations, a different loot system and many other features that have been changed into what they are nowadays gave shape to a very different World of Warcraft that still was quite attractive back in the day, especially compared to other MMORPGs like Everquest, that definitely needed even a more significant time investment than Blizzard’s title. But no matter what, the community of World of Warcraft players has been demanding Classic WoW for a while, and it the developers seem to be quite happy to deliver what they ask.

World of Warcraft Classic will launch worldwide on August 27th, 2019. You can check in the map below what the global release times are.
