It’s quite common to see a delay if we are talking about the launch date of a video game, but there are very few cases where a game ends being released earlier than expected. Quite surprisingly, this is going to be the case for Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Publisher Bethesda Softworks has revealed that the upcoming installment of the Wolfenstein series will arrive on July 25 on PC. That is just a day earlier than the planned release date, and we don’t really know what is more unusual, the fact of moving the launch date just one day ahead or announcing it just a couple of days before it happens.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood follows the story of Jess and Soph Blazkowicz, twin daughters of the infamous BJ protagonist of the previous Wolfenstein installments, BJ Blazkowicz. The game is set in the 1980s, two decades after the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Daddy has gone missing in action during a mission in Paris. He was fighting the Nazis that are occupying the city and disappeared. Now it’s the turn of his two lovely daughters to grab some guns and find out what has happened to our hero, laying waste to the seemingly endless ranks of the Nazis in the process.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is the first cooperative game in the series. You can play as either of the twin sisters and have other friend or the AI controlling the other one through the game. As you complete missions to help the French resistance to fight the Nazis and find out where is your father you will level up and unlock several abilities, weapons, pieces of equipment, and cosmetics to customize your character.

If you want to play the game on a platform other than PC (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch), you will still have to wait until the original launch date. To find the best price for Wolfenstein: Youngblood, don’t forget to check our comparator.
