Chaos is always with us.

In connection to Warhammer: Chaosbane’s launching next week, developer Big Ben has released the cinematic trailer of the game detailing some dark and gritting backstory. This game will be the first hack-and-slash title in the Warhammer universe.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is coming this June 4th, are you ready?

The Empire of Man is now in ruins due to civil war, famine, and plagues. In the year 2301, the Kurgan warlord named Asavar Kul took the initiative and united the tribes of the Chaos Wastes, waging war against the realms of men.

The war tore the realm and the empire but in its darkest hours, Magnus, a nobleman from the south helped the people of the empire to fight against the invaders. The imperial army aided by mighty heroes from all the lands fought for the people.

Magnus eventually led the people to victory and killed Kul in battle outside the walls of Praag. Magnus was then crowned as the new Emperor and here is where the real the chaos starts.

Warhammer: Chaosbane has four classes and offers four-player co-op. The classes are as follows: the soldier, the mage, the dwarf slayer, and the wood elf.

Players will embark on a journey to break the curse on Magnus before the forces of Chaos regroup and start a war again. It will take all your courage and skills to traverse through iconic locations of the Warhammer Fantasy universe fighting against hordes of all kinds of spawns of chaos in Warhammer: Chaosbane. The game takes inspiration on other acrion RPG like the Diablo series but it managed to adapt it perfectly to the world of the tabletop miniature game from Games Workshop.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is set to launch this June 4th, 2019 but if you own the Magnus Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition, you can already start playing it starting May 31 on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
