Warhammer 40.000 is one of those franchises that attracts a lot of fans since the miniature tabletop game from Games Workshop is very popular, but for some strange reason, not many videogames based on this universe has managed to satisfy the demanding fans. This was the case of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr when it launched. This action RPG had all the potential to be a big hit among the followers of the franchise, but it didn’t quite deliver what players deemed necessary for it to be a huge success. Even the most persistent fans of Warhammer 40,000 found that the way the game was built and the lack of cooperative play in certain areas of the game were flaws too big to be ignored, so it’s quite likely that many of you are wondering how is it getting an expansion.

The reason behind this seems to be that developer studio Neocore Games has been working hard to fix all these problems since release. The game update 2.0 has addressed most of the issues regarding combat, and it has also made it possible to play the whole campaign in multiplayer co-op mode. It has taken them a while, they have angered many players that expected Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr to be much better at launch, but at the end, they have managed to come up with a game which gameplay is faster, smoother, and much better in many aspects as you can see in the following video.

The game feels much better now, and that’s not the only good news. Warhammer 40,000 -Inquisitor – Martyr is expanding its content with a standalone expansion that is adding a new character class and a new subsector to explore. Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Prophecy adds a Tech-adept Inquisitor to the classes available in the game. He can control technological servitors and use them in combat. You can play with him through the original story or jump directly into the new three chapters that continue the campaign of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr expansion is already available on PC. Grab your weapon and get ready to purge the Xenos from the galaxy for the glory of the Emperor.
