Unveiled for the first time to the public at Game
With a launch scheduled for August 30, not later than tomorrow, Man of Medan offers us a small trip to the sea that will not be easy. As you probably already know, The Dark Pictures Anthology will bring together a whole series of horror games inspired by “teen horror” movies. Pete Samuels recently revealed that eight games are planned for the time being and that two games should be released each year.
On the occasion of the imminent release of Man of Medan, Supermassive Games has released a new cinematic trailer. This video, which takes the form of a trailer worthy of Hollywood, clearly shows us that the narration is in the spotlight, as the game is presented as an interactive film in the way of Until Dawn.
But this is neither the only video nor the only news of the day about The Dark Pictures Anthology. As is often the case today, studios usually send copies of their games in preview to some handpicked players, which is likely to generate reviews or let’s play videos about their games. This is how the second title of The Dark Pictures Anthology was just teased. With the name of Little Hope, we discover the first images of the game thanks to a trailer resembles Man of Medan. Supermassive and Bandai Namco have not yet said anything on the subject but the players who had access to the game did not hesitate to spread the word and unveil this video.
Although little information is given, we can see that Little Hope will bring us back to the mainland. We see a group of young people, including Andrew and Angela, in the forest around the little town of Little Hope, which seems far from peaceful. Some elements also recall a well-known movie that gives a name to a game which will also come out tomorrow: Blair Witch. In the video, we can see a person handling a voodoo doll, and the figure that we see in the “O” of Little Hope reminds us of those that the characters of the film
