Mission: It’s Complicated Review – The Power of Love

Superpowers might be all fine and dandy, but what if you throw the power of love in for good measure? Schell Games mixes action with romance in their new visual novel Mission: It’s Complicated – does this title have chemistry, or should players swipe left?

Mission: It’s Complicated Review

After waking up from a terrifying nightmare, Professor L hears a voice from an alternate version of himself warning him of a terrible calamity. The Eater of Possibilities Gidheron is set to come to Earth in just a few short days, and it is imperative that this PhD candidate assemble a team of heroes and find the Possibility Stone to stop it.

However, there’s a catch – he needs to find two superheroes that are in love for this plan to work. Not one to take things lying down, he assembles a team of five different heroes with wildly different abilities and backgrounds to bond with one another and save the day.

This premise is unique enough as it is, but the concept pays off in dividends as things progress. Assassins, hackers, aliens, muscle-bound heroes, and elementalists team up two at a time to take on the different threats across the city, with successful missions increasing the bond between characters.

One can quickly see the immense replayability this system provides. Certain situations call for certain abilities, and the combination of teams ensures that no two scenarios play out the same. As the professor, players can guide these teams along with strategic choices, some which pan out better than others. Every mission isn’t always a success (players are given a letter grade for their performance), but the occasional botched scenario isn’t enough to put things on ice.

Even when things hit the fan, the sharp writing of Mission: It’s Complicated saves the day. As these heroes arrive at the scene of ATM hackings, paranormal television filmings, and even car commercials, players will have a smile on their face as they see how things play out.

Most of the game plays out in a text message-style format, featuring character headshots and the occasional gallery or comic image. Outside of the main missions, there are also interviews and briefings with the pugilist Pugsly. In true visual novel format, players will be reading their way through this title, but writing is snappy and events move quickly. If there is a mission that is less than appealing, it is on to the next one before players have time to be bored.

Of course, these heroes are not always on the clock – build up a strong enough bond between two characters and some extracurricular activities will open up. These characters will go on coffee dates, walks in the park, and eventually a visit to a cabin with just one bed. These bonds add an element of time management to the title, and ensure that no two playthroughs are the same.

The main game can be finished in a little more than an hour, but additional playthroughs are encouraged as scenarios vary based on each pair. There is a fair amount of content for those looking for it, and though more missions would have been nice, what is here will keep fans busy for a decent amount …

Where To Find Dung Balls In Nioh 2

The dung man makes his return in Nioh 2 and he is hungry for more. Check out this guide to find out where to find Dung Balls in Nioh 2. The more you feed him, the more rewards you will get in return.

Where To Find Dung Balls In Nioh 2

You find the Dung Man in the Bird in a Cage level and you can find Dung Balls there as well. They are in other levels, on bodies you loot, but the are easiest to get here. Some of the corpses have Dung Balls or Noble Dung Balls on them, but they don’t respawn after you get them once. Your best bet is to farm the Rat Yokai under the castle and in the sewer caves near the castle in the Bird in a Cage mission. The drop rate seems to be around 15% without any buffs on and you can respawn the Rat Yokai from a shrine nearby pretty quickly. I have found Dung Balls and Noble Dung Balls in multiple missions past this as well, so you can just progress and come back later if you want. I think the Noble ones count as two for the rewards.

Dung Man Rewards
3 Dung Balls and 1 Noble Dung Ball – Thanks Gesture And Lumicite Shard
6 Dung Balls and 1 Noble Dung Ball – Lumicite Crystal
6 Dung Balls and 3 Noble Dung Balls – Horned Turban Helmet (The helmet Dung Man has on)

My guess is if you hit 15-20 Dung Balls he will reward you with the blue print for the Horned Turban Helmet, but I haven’t confirmed it yet. Check back soon for more Nioh 2 guides.

Nioh 2 Armor Set Bonuses Guide

Nioh 2 Armor Set Bonuses Guide
There’s a good selection of armor sets in Nioh 2 that provide set bonuses. This Nioh 2 Armor Set Bonuses Guide lists all of the different set bonuses we’ve encounter in the game so far including details on what stats the bonus benefits most.

As we continue through the game we’ll update the guide with more sets and more bonuses, and hopefully additional details on where each set can be found. To begin with, this guide is mostly just about listing the different armor set bonuses available so you can find one that most suits your personal play style and hunt it down. Usually checking mission rewards and Blacksmith options is where you find most of the sets in the game.

Armor Sets are special collections of armor that provide additional bonuses when worn as a complete set. When you highlight a piece of armor, if it belongs to a set, it will have the sets name in the description along with the armors other beneficial effects. You press L2 while inspecting a piece of set armor to further check the armor stats, providing additional information on the perks and benefits of equipping the full set of armor.

In Nioh 2 you can respec your skill points if you have the right item. Check out this guide to find out how to respect in Nioh 2. With this, you can try a few different builds out and find out what works for you.

How To Respec In Nioh 2

In order to respec in Nioh 2, you will first have to unlock the Blacksmith. In order to do this you must beat the second main mission of the game. After you beat the mission, go to your hut and go to the Smithy. Here you can buy and sell items, as well as disassemble your unwanted gear for extra crafting materials. When you go to buy, you can see a Book of Reincarnation for 10k. When you buy it, the price goes up. So far I have bought it twice and it went 10k, 30k and now it is at 100k. With the book, you can get all your skills back and respec. Just remember that the book is not cheap so use it only if you can afford to do so.

It’s Raining Fists and Metal Review

The gnarly world of metal meets the over the top world of fisticuffs with Marco Amadei and Riccardo Ricci’s arena brawler It’s Raining Fists and Metal. This rhythm and fighting game combo breaks new ground, but is this title tubular or gnarly?

It’s Raining Fists and Metal Review

Those weaned on arena fighters like Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. series will no doubt what to do from just a passing glance. With support for up to four players, it’s up for rockers to knock their opponent out of the stage by any means necessary. As one would expect from the title, everything is metal-fied – expect to play with radical characters like Michael Stoner and Steppen Joe in such venues as the Metal Factory or the Altar of Sacrifice.

However, the inspiration comes across as plagiarism at times – menus elements are lifted wholesale, the effects when people are incapacitated are the same, and even the inclusion of items (albeit music-based ones like keytars and records) feels similar. It often feels like the dollar store discount of Nintendo’s name brand sauce.

It’s Raining Fists and Metal does stand out through the inclusion of its rhythm elements. Not only do players choose a character and a stage, but they also choose a track to play as well. These tracks aren’t just for head bopping though – each one has a melody shown at the top of each stage that must be followed when doing any action. Whether one is attacking, defending, or even pushing through by “Moshing,” it is important to time elements to the beat.

It’s just a shame that actions often feel like they lack any sort of weight. Successfully pulling off the elements of a song should feel empowering, but the placement of the rhythm meter in relation to the frantic action of the gameplay simply does not work. In what is the equivalent of walking and chewing bubble gum at the same time, it is far too easy to put the brakes on the action to figure out what players need to do next. It simply does not strike a chord for those looking to throw down.

Unfortunately, the game also greatly suffers through its musical choice. In what should be one of the key elements of the title, the soundtrack making up It’s Raining Fists and Metal is grating. The chiptune songs are loud, sure, but they also come across as obnoxious and dissonant – especially “Hamsterdam.” It’s a real shame, as solid tunes would have added a considerable amount to this package.

To keep players going, a number of characters and stages can be unlocked. An Adventure Mode with a random story unlocks a number of pieces of content, but those looking to throw down right away can enjoy a considerable amount of the title from the get-go. Just be warned that there is no online to speak of – only couch co-op and bots are present.

Combining rhythm and fighting is a novel concept, but It’s Raining Fists and Metal just doesn’t have the music nor the gameplay to stand out in the arena brawler space.

This review of It’s Raining Fists and Metal was done on the PC. The game was purchased digitally.

How Can You Increase Attunement Limit In Nioh 2

How Can You Increase Attunement Limit In Nioh 2
Attunement Limit dictates how many Soul Cores you can equip but How Can You Increase Attunement Limit In Nioh 2? Unfortunately, for those looking to increase the Attunement Limit of their favorite Spirit Guardians, we’re not sure it’s possible.

Spirit Guardians allow you to transform in Nioh 2, they improve your stats, and they also allow you to equip special Soul Stones. Soul Stones are powerful abilities that can be unlocked after you slay a Yokai. There’s a small chance the Yokai will drop its soul essence, in the form of a Soul Stone. Each Soul Guardian has two slots that can be used to equip Soul Stones, and each Soul Stone has a value of Attunement depending on its strength.

How Can You Increase Attunement Limit In Nioh 2

Unfortunately, we have not yet discovered a way to increase Attunement Limit on your favorite Soul Guardians. It may be possible later in the game but thus far, it seems to be a fixed number. Typically speaking, the stronger the Spirit Guardian, the lower the Attunement Limit. Spirit Guardians that focus on buffing attack and damage, have a lower Attunement Limit than more passive Spirit Guardians as a balance technique.

Do you want to charge into battle with huge bonuses to attack and defense or play it a bit safer and gain access to more powerful Yokai abilities? It’s a choice constant throughout the game and one that means Attunement Limits may be the final factor when choosing your Spirit Guardian.

If we do find a way of increasing Attunement, we’ll be sure to let you know.

In Nioh 2 there is a purple Kodama that you will run into from time to time. Check out this guide to find out what to give the Purple Kodama in Nioh 2. It will reward you with extra loot and exp for a reward.

What To Give The Purple Kodama In Nioh 2

When you run into the purple Kodama, it will tell you that it wants something. The item you are looking to hand over is called the Red Spider Lily. You can only hold three at a time and they are not easy to find. So far, I have only found one as a reward from the first level and then one dropped of a random Yokai. I think the Yokai one was just lucky though. When you have the Red Spider Lily, you need to drop it from your inventory onto the floor near the Kodama. It will take a moment, but the purple Kodama will go pick it up and shower you with loot after to shot its appreciation. When I find more Red Spider Lilies I will add their location.

Nioh 2 Soul Core Guide
Want to know how to use Soul Cores or where to find them? In this Nioh 2 Soul Core Guide we break down the location of every Soul Core we have discovered on our journey through the game so far, including details on where to find them and how to use them.

Yokai are powerful demon enemies that appear throughout Nioh 2. Most, if not all, of the different Yokai you encounter have a chance at dropping a Soul Core, but the drop is rarely guaranteed unless it’s a boss battle or an important part of the story. Once you have a Soul Core, you must visit a Shrine to purify it. If you die before purifying the Soul Core, it is destroyed and lost forever unless you use a Candle.

The locations listed are the earliest locations we encountered that particular Soul Core. Most can be found in multiple places, scattered throughout the game.
