After 23 years of waiting, the SEGA Saturn classic Sakura Wars has been translated by cj_iwakura, TrekkiesUnite118, NoahSteam_, and the rest of their very talented crew.
Developed by Sega and Red Company, this strategy RPG is a “dramatic adventure” title that follows a military unit known as the Imperial Combat Revue. Players will make a number of critical choices with the Live & Interactive Picture System (LIPS), while the battle mode has players fighting demons using Koubu machines.
The launch trailer for the translation can be seen below. The animated footage and animated English logo were provided by and edited by TrekkiesUnite118, while the trailer was crafted by Bowl of Lentils. Credit goes to CrouchingMouse for the voiceover and Eien1No1Yami and cj_iwakura for the narration script.
