It’s a fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been one of the big hits of 2018. The action-adventure from Take-Two and Rockstar Games managed to get the attention of the public with highly-detailed graphics and a vast open world where the players can experience all the thrill of one of the most legendary periods in the history in a fictionalized version of the Western U.S.

Red Dead Redemption 2 offers you precisely what you would expect if you were to be the protagonist of a Western: lots of action, gunfights, and an epic story. But when the story comes to an end, the game still has a whole world of opportunities waiting for you, and it plans to go to the next level adding multiplayer to the title with Red Dead Online.

Red Dead Online – About to assalut an encampment

Red Dead Online, the multiplayer part of Red Dead Redemption 2, was announced shortly after the game was launched, and not long after that many players have been able to experience it during the beta period. The final results of that beta are going to come out soon. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed yesterday that Red Dead Online beta period would be finished before the end of June. That would leave us with a lot of extra content to be added to the game along with the multiplayer features when it launches.

No release date has been confirmed for Red Dead Online features going live, so we can only speculate about if they will be available as soon as the beta ends. That´s what is likely to happen because after all, anyone that owns Red Dead Redemption 2 has been able to participate in the beta since it started in November, and it wouldn´t make much sense to cut those players from the gameplay they have been experiencing for more than half a year.
If we consider that there have been a lot of rumors lately saying that the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 might be coming out soon, it makes sense that it would be launched along with Red Dead Online, but that is yet to be confirmed by Rockstar Games.

Until there is an official confirmation about those matters, you can keep enjoying Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online beta on your PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As usual, you can find the best prices for Red Dead Redemption 2 through our comparator.
