The announcement of video game releases doesn’t always follow an established pattern and sometimes they are made public when they are at advanced stages in development without any previous notice. This is the case of Postal 4: No Regerts that has been announced today. Not only we get to hear from it today officially for the first time, but the game is also entering Steam’s Early Access program, allowing players to purchase it and play the current version.
The fourth installment of the Postal series is a sandbox open-world first-person shooter that willlet us play once more as the Postal Dude, this time in the town of Edensin where he will have to complete a list of errands through five different days until he earns enough money to leave the place. Whether you can earn that money legally and using non-lethal methods, it’s always more fun to avoid doing so. As in previous games in the series, he will have at his disposal a variety of lethal weapons to go postal and spread mayhem through the city, including the fan-favorite shovel, the boomerang-machete, and the water-gun, which you can load with different liquids that range from gasoline to urine for diverse effects.
Postal 4: No Regerts – Gameplay
If you decide to give a try to the Early Access version of Postal 4: No Regerts in Steam, you will have access to the list of errands to complete in the first day. It serves as an introduction to the game mechanics, weapons, and missions. No release date for the final version of the game has been announced so far.
Developer Running With Scissors will be adding more content as the development of the game progresses, but you can already get a general idea of what the game is about. If you have played Postal 2, this new game will feel very familiar to you, but expect to find plenty of new activities and weapons to create chaos to your heart’s content in Postal 4: No Regerts.
