In this Developer Diary, Producer Lloyd Morgan-Moore discusses the different ways players can enjoy the title. Programmer Phillipa Moore talks about the tutorial mode, which is new for the console version of the game. Lead Designer Andrew Fletcher also shares insight into the title’s career mode, which features a variety of new parks for players to enjoy.

Planet Coaster: Console Edition | Dev Diary #2 | Ways to Play

Planet Coaster: Console Edition will give theme park aficionados the chance to build and manage their way to coaster-creating fame. Deep physics-based systems that ensure pinpoint accuracy have been included.

Those that purchase the digital version of Planet Coaster: Console Edition for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can download the optimized version of the title for free when it becomes available on next-generation consoles. All they need to do to claim it is login to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X with the account they purchased the game on. For those with a physical version of the game, all they need to do to access the next-generation version is insert the disc into the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X this holiday season.
