The Outer Worlds Mods Guide

The Outer Worlds Mods Guide
Don’t waste your Mods, maximize your stats and spend your Mods wisely. This The Outer Worlds Mods Guide explains the basics of the Mod system in the game, as well as offering deeper insight on how you can manipulate the system to get huge boosts to various stats depending on the activity.

Using a Workbench you can apply mods to weapons and to armor. Weapon mods allow you to change the Barrel, Scope and Clip, adding various bonuses from additional damage, to special damage types and improvements to accuracy. Weapon modifications are easy to understand, and fall as much under personal preference as efficiency but armor, that’s where you can really push your stats.

The Outer Worlds Mods Guide

You can only modify your armor, you cannot modify helmets. Armor comes in three forms, Light, Medium, and Heavy. Heavy armor offers the most protection with least stat bonuses, while Light offers the least armor value and the highest potential bonuses to stats. Medium sits in the middle.

Surviving in The Outer Worlds is not a difficult task, armor helps but it’s not vital. As such, Light armor is a fantastic choice, because it allows you to participate in so much more content, and more choices. The best Light Armor can have up to 4 modifications.

Tech Skills

This is a “Hacking” setup. As you can see there is a +7 Hack bonus on the armor, with an additional Tech Skills +5, further modifications could be added. This adds huge bonuses to areas in the tech tree.

Dialog Skills

Then you can build a different set entirely. This set leans more toward dialog, persuasion, lying, intimidation, that sort of thing. This opens up a lot of opportunities during quests and whatnot.

Furthermore, there is a Perk in the Tier 3 section that offers 100% Skill Bonuses to skill bonuses applied by armor, doubling any stats your armor has. You are limited in the amount of skill points you get in the game but you can compensate using mods in sets such as this.

Give The Module To Sanjar Or Graham In The Outer Worlds Guide

Give The Module To Sanjar Or Graham In The Outer Worlds Guide
Stuck on who to give the module to in The Outer Worlds? This Give The Module To Sanjar Or Graham In The Outer Worlds Guide breaks down both choices of either supporting the Iconoclasts or MSI with details on the consequence of both choices, so you can weigh up the pros and cons for yourself.

This is a big decision to make as not only does it have immediate effects, it could have ramifications much later in the game as well. This is not a right or wrong decision to make, it’s entirely down to personal choice. The developers have intentionally made the choices touch grey area, both sides have valid points, both sides make sense. That said, let’s see what happens.

Make sure, before doing this, you’ve completed all of your quests on this planet. Many will fail outright at the conclusion of this mission.

Give The Module To Sanjar Or Graham In The Outer Worlds Guide

If You Give The Module To Sanjar
If you give the Module to Sanjar, Stellar Bay is attacked by the X. You’re sent out to deal with the assault directly. You wipe out X and have to kill both Graham and Zora in the process. You get some XP, Bits and MSI Saltuna Searer, a unique Flamethrower.

If You Give The Module To Graham
If you decide to give the module to Graham, you assault Stellar Bay and wipe out the Monarch Stellar Industries, including killing Sanjar. You will have 100% Negative reputation with the MSI at the end of the mission. You get some XP, some Bits and The Good Word, a unique Heavy Machine Gun.

Work Together
You do not have to kill Graham, Sanjar or Zora. If you want to go the more peaceful route, speak with Sanjar. For this route to work you must have read Sanjar’s records on the BOLT With His Name quest, took the additional food for Zora on the The Commuter quest, and saved the medics on the Pay for the Printer quest. You then have to complete the third quest you get from Zora called “Sucker Bait” as well.

Then follow these dialogue options

  • Could you agree to a truce?
  • I’ve read your reviews Sanjar, you can’t do this alone (You must have completed BOLT With His Name Faction Quest and read the document on the computer)
  • You’re good with details, but you could use someone who sees the big picture
  • What about Graham’s second-in-command, Zora?

Then, follow the objective to get Zora’s review, and return it to Sanjar. Then head to Amber Heights to speak with Graham and Zora. If you haven’t aided Zora correctly in the previous quests, she will refuse to help.

If you have helped Zora and have done all her quests, speak to her before speaking with Graham. Siding with Zora means you HAVE to kill Graham. If you don’t kill Graham then there can be no truce. Tell Graham that Zora is taking over and follow it through to kill Graham. When Graham is dead, tell Zora you want her and Sanjar to join forces. You will need 55 Persuasion, 55 Leadership, or very high intelligence to convince her. Go to the meeting point and you still …

5 Must Have Tips For New Players In The Outer Worlds

5 Must Have Tips For New Players In The Outer Worlds
The Outer Worlds is a huge treasure trove of discovery, reward, and screw ups. Check out our 5 Must Have Tips For New Players In The Outer Worlds, basic tips for beginners to avoid some frustration and in some cases, massive problems.

The game thrives on giving players choice and freedom, and there’s plenty of both. Check out our brief list below before you play, giving you the edge as you start your adventure in this promising galaxy.

Beware Of Flaws

Flaws can be fantastic, they can also be awful. Flaws occur when you complete specific negative events in the game. For example, if you receive a ton of damage from Robots during your play through, you will unlock the Flaw Robophobia. This Flaw makes you take additional damage from Robots and suffer stat penalties when Robots are near, in exchange for a valuable and rare Perk Point. All good, right?

Well, no. You can unlock a Robot Companion that can join you on your travels, and he’s very strong. However, the Robophobia Flaw is applied if he is in your party. Flaws will pop up from time to time, just be cautious, think things through.

Go In The Long Grass

Stealth is a huge part of The Outer Worlds, and it’s great fun. Popping off headshots from a distance, watching your enemies fall one by one, totally oblivious. Long grass is a fantastic stealth tool, concealing your character from your enemies. Even better, it goes slightly opaque when you crouch, allowing you to see your enemies.

It also has a negative effect, hiding bodies. If you’re losing track of enemies, crouch, especially in grass. It makes it much easier to locate the bodies and your well earned loot.

Steal Everything Not Bolted Down

Steal. Everything. The Outer Worlds is filled with items, every room, every building, there’s always something to steal. What’s more, you don’t have to mess around finding a fence or anything silly like that. Stolen items can be sold to any vendor as if they were obtained normally. Smart, eh?

Be careful though, if you’re caught, you will lose reputation with a faction, but that’s about it. Don’t be afraid to steal the big bucks if you’re in a factions territory that already hates you.

Sneak Attack Is Sneaky

The Sneak Attack is deadly. It adds a huge damage modifier to an attack made from Stealth but you already knew that, right? However, The Outer Worlds’ Stealth Attack is a little different than what we’re used to. It’s not available by default, you do not start with the ability to Sneak Attack.

You must reach level 20 Sneak, it’s a skill within the Stealth tree. When you have a natural level of 20+, Sneak Attack is unlocked and automatically applied to attacks from Stealth.

Inhale Often

Your inhaler is your life line. It’s L1/LB and restores your health. What the game struggles to explain is that it can do much more. You can create your own custom cocktail of consumables, stacking huge health recovery or applying a strength buff so huge you one hit anything in your path.

Navigate to the consumables section of your inventory and make sure to equip items next to the medical …

Two Point Hospital Coming to Consoles First Half of 2020

Two Point Hospital Close Encounters DLC Announced
Two Point Studios’ hospital management sim Two Point Hospital has had its release date for consoles moved to the first half of 2020.

Set to come to the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, the delay was done “to make it the best it can possibly be,” according to the development team. They also stated that making a management sim on three different consoles is tricky.

According to Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios:

“Our community have asked for Two Point Hospital on consoles for a while now and we want to make sure we deliver a game that can be enjoyed to the fullest on all platforms. This means we will need a little bit more time to optimise the game to ensure the best possible experience across all platforms.”

Two Point Hospital tasks players with managing and building a hospital. Tasks include curing hilarious diseases and ultimately taking your facilities to the next level.

Batman Arkham: Legacy would be the next Warner Bros. Montreal game

About a month ago, Batman’s 80th-anniversary celebrations were in full swing, and there was also a rumor about a potential new game on the caped vigilante due to a tweet exchange between two people from the team that worked on Batman Arkham: Origins, Robert Craig Smith, and Ryan Galetta. As a reminder, it is the Montreal branch of Warner Bros. Games who developed the game after the acquisition of Rocksteady, who had developed the previous episodes of the Batman: Arkham series. A few days after this exchange, its Twitter account posted a video clearly referring to the universe of Batman, without further details.

Even though there is no longer any doubt that something is in the works, its nature still remains to be defined. It seems that a new clue has appeared today with a leak that comes to add water to the mill.

We owe this new information to Sabi, an insider known to have revealed a lot of information that has been proved true, even to the point of suffering the wrath of Nintendo in the last E3. With the following tweet posted two days ago, Sabi began to reveal some information on this upcoming game Batman.

He says the title would be Batman Arkham: Legacy, stating that the name may change. He then adds that the game would be focused on the Batman Family and that all of its members would be playable. The Batman Family brings together a whole bunch of characters close to Batman, such as Robin, Catwoman, Batgirl, or Red Hood. We also learned that the Court of Owls would also be at the center of the game, as suggested by the teaser published by Warner Bros. last month.

All this is, of course, to be taken with a pinch of salt. We would need an official confirmation from Warner Bros. which, according to Sabi, could happen at the Game Awards in December. If all this is true, Batman Arkham: Legacy could be a game with great potential.

Deathwing is coming to Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard has revealed the upcoming character that is coming to their free-to-play MOBA, and it’s no other than the dragon Deathwing, who caused the Cataclysm that changed Azeroth into what it is today in World of Warcraft. The huge dragon, Aspect of the Earth and protector of Azeroth before the was corrupted by the influence of the Old Gods, will arrive at the Nexus very soon to participate in battles along with many other heroes and villains from Blizzard’s games.

Deathwing is not the first Aspect present in Heroes of the Storm. Alexstrasza, Queen of the Dragons and guardian of all life in Azeroth has been playable in the game for a while already. Still, she is mainly playable in human form, being able to transform into her dragon form for a limited period. This is not going to be the case for Deathwing who, despite being much bigger, will permanently be on his dragon form during the matches.

As a result of that, Deathwing will follow some special rules that make him a bit different from the other characters in Heroes of the Storm. He will not be able to ride any mounts, but he has access to a unique ability, Dragon Flight, which allows him to leave the map to recover health and armor and then land anywhere he vision in one of two forms, Destroyer or Worldbreaker. Destroyer form grants him a few powerful close combat melee skills that focus on dealing damage. His Worldbreaker form is still quite powerful but comes focuses on crowd control with skills that can slow and stun enemies. Both forms share the same heroic skill, Cataclysm, which allows Deathwing to take flight and burn everything under his wings, creating a field of molten destruction.

More details about Deathwing will be revealed soon, but considering its unique abilities, we expect that the new character will have quite an impact in Heroes of the Storm gameplay after it is available to the players.

Cosplay Wednesday – Call of Duty’s Nazi Zombies

Call of Duty is coming back with the latest entry in the series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In honor of this time-honored FPS, Gamers Heroes takes a look at a striking cosplay of one of the iconic Nazi zombies.

Katherine Drake (aka “The-Katherinator”) created this striking Call of Duty Nazi zombie cosplay for the 2014 Fan Expo. She closely copied the zombie design from the game, and carefully put up her hair with hair gel and spray to put over the pre-prepared bald cap.

Credit goes to shelflife.net for the photos.

How to dual boot Windows 10 and Debian 10

So, you finally made the bold decision to try out Linux after much convincing. However, you do not want to let go of your Windows 10 operating system yet as you will still be needing it before you learn the ropes on Linux. Thankfully, you can easily have a dual boot setup that allows you to switch to either of the operating systems upon booting your system. In this guide, you will learn how to dual boot  Windows 10 alongside Debian 10.

How-to-dual-boot-Windows-and-Debian10

Prerequisites

Before you get started, ensure you have the following:

  • A bootable USB  or DVD of Debian 10
  • A fast and stable internet connection ( For installation updates & third party applications)

Additionally, it worth paying attention to how your system boots (UEFI or Legacy) and ensure both the operating systems boot using the same boot mode.

Step 1: Create a free partition on your hard drive

To start off, you need to create a free partition on your hard drive. This is the partition where Debian will be installed during the installation process. To achieve this, you will invoke the disk management utility as shown:

Press Windows Key + R to launch the Run dialogue. Next, type diskmgmt.msc and hit ENTER

Launch-Run-dialogue

This launches the disk management window displaying all the drives existing on your Windows system.

Disk-management

Next, you need to create a free space for Debian installation. To do this, you need to shrink a partition from one of the volumes and create a new unallocated partition. In this case, I will create a 30 GB partition from Volume D.

To shrink a volume, right-click on it and select the ‘shrink’ option

Shrink-volume

In the pop-up dialogue, define the size that you want to shrink your space. Remember, this will be the disk space on which Debian 10 will be installed. In my case, I selected 30000MB  ( Approximately 30 GB). Once done, click on ‘Shrink’.

Shrink-space

After the shrinking operation completes, you should have an unallocated partition as shown:

Unallocated-partition

Perfect! We are now good to go and ready to begin the installation process.

Step 2: Begin the installation of Debian 10

With the free partition already created, plug in your bootable USB drive or insert the DVD installation medium in your PC and reboot your system. Be sure to make changes to the boot order in the BIOS set up by pressing the function keys (usually, F9, F10 or F12 depending on the vendor). This is crucial so that the PC boots into your installation medium. Saves the BIOS settings and reboot.

A new grub menu will be displayed as shown below: Click on ‘Graphical install

Graphical-Install-Debian10

In the next step, select your preferred language and click ‘Continue

Select-Language-Debian10

Next, select your location and click ‘Continue’. Based on this location the time will automatically be selected for you. If you cannot find you located, scroll down and click on ‘other’ then select your location.

Select-location-Debain10

Next, select your keyboard layout.

Configure-Keyboard-layout-Debain10

In the next step, specify your system’s hostname and click ‘Continue

Set-hostname-Debian10

Next, specify the domain name. If you are not in a domain environment, simply click on the ‘continue’ button.
