How To Equip Missile Launchers & Mech Arms In Phoenix Point

How To Equip Missile Launchers & Mech Arms In Phoenix Point
Some of Phoenix Point’s special classes get very powerful weapons. Here we explain How To Equip Missile Launchers & Mech Arms In Phoenix Point as both the Technician and Heavy classes gain access to very powerful weaponry that’s a little confusing to equip.

Exploring your ever expanding inventory in Phoenix Point it’s likely you will eventually encounter and collect some special weaponry. Some of this weaponry includes Missile Launchers and Mech Arms. Neither of these items function like traditional weaponry, they cannot be equipped to your ready slot and the body slot doesn’t activate them either.

How To Equip Missile Launchers & Mech Arms In Phoenix Point

How To Equip Missile Launchers & Mech Arms In Phoenix Point
Both the Missile Launchers and Mech Arms are considered “Mounts”. There is a special category in the equipment screen for Mounts, this is where you equip both the Mech Arms and the Missile Launcher. However, both of these items of equipment require additional prerequisites.

The Mech Arms are a Technician class feature. You do not need to be a Technician to equip them but it’s always a better idea to be proficient with gear so put Mech Arms on your Technician. In order to equip the Mech Arms to a soldier, that soldier needs to be wearing a Technicians chest piece, such as the Tech Ops 7 Body Armor from New Jericho. Likewise for the Missile Launcher. For a Soldier to equip the Missile Launcher in the chest slot, they must be wearing a Heavy class chest piece.

And that’s How To Equip Missile Launchers & Mech Arms In Phoenix Point.

Destiny 2 Season of Dawn’s roadmap has been revealed

Bungie is at full throttle since they abandoned Activision’s platform and released Destiny 2 on Steam. The change in the monetization model with the release of the free-to-play version of the game a the launch of the new Destiny 2: Shadowkeep expansion have had a very positive effect in Destiny 2. Having more freedom about how, when, and what to release means that Bungie can be a lot more flexible and adapt to what the players want and the formula seems to be working very well. Proof of that is that Bungie has revealed the roadmap for the new season of Destiny 2, which is called Season of Dawn.

The Season of Dawn starts on December 10th and it marks the return of the powerful titan Saint-14. During the previous season, we could fight against the Vex, but the Red Legion has not been idle and they have discovered a way to manipulate time. That means more work for the guardians who will be visiting Mercury in order to deal with old problems and enemies in new different ways. Stopping the group that is trying to undo the outcome of your past battle against the Red Legion will be your main priority during the Season of the Dawn. To achieve this goal, you will have to help Osiris to fix the timeline by restoring Obelisks on four destinations. While you do so, you will have access to a seasonal artifact, the Lantern of Osiris, which you will be able to upgrade to increase your power and unlock seasonal mods. The Season of Dawn also comes with plenty of seasonal rewards, which include the Exotic Scout Rifle, Symmetry, and the Righteous seasonal armor set for all the players to unlock.

Destiny 2 – Season of Dawn Roadmap

If you are a Destiny 2 Season Pass holder, you will be granted extra rewards and access to additional content, including a new activity for 6 players, The Sundial.

If you want to know more details about the contents of the Season of Dawn you can visit the official website of the game, and if you want to purchase Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, you can use our comparator to find the best price.

Phoenix Point Soldier Classes Guide

Phoenix Point Soldier Classes Guide
Each class has access to unique abilities and proficiency. In this Phoenix Point Soldier Classes Guide we break down each of the individual classes we’ve discovered so far and how to unlock new classes, including the special & elite classes hidden behind faction relationships and shared technology.

When you first begin your journey in Phoenix Point you are restricted to just the base classes available to your faction. As you progress through the game, you can unlock additional classes and recruit soldiers with special classes. Each faction has variations of the base classes, such as New Jericho’s Heavy class. It’s similar to the base Heavy class, with different default weaponry and ability paths.

How To Unlock More Classes

How To Unlock More Classes
There are two ways to obtain advanced classes in Phoenix Point, one of which is a single use, the other is permanent. When you are searching the map for potential recruits, look for the star icon next to the recruitment icon. These represent special recruitment options. These appear randomly at faction Havens with an Elite Training facility. These are somewhat rare in the earlier stages of the game but become more common as global conflict escalates.

These soldiers are specific to the faction. For example, if you find a Disciple of Anu Haven with an available soldier in their Elite Training program, you will recruit either a Priest or a Berserker. This is the easiest and earliest way to unlock a class, but it’s only for that individual unit, it cannot be learned by other soldiers.

For a more permanent option, one that can be taught to any soldier once they reach the appropriate level, you need to raise your reputation with factions. You do this by completing Diplomacy Missions, aiding Havens, and so forth. You can also steal technology from factions by Raiding a Haven with a Research Station. These missions can be repeated, it’s a long process but you can easily obtain all the tech from one faction in an hour or so of attacks. Once you reach “Aligned” reputation with a faction, they will give you all of their classes, armor, weapons, and equipment technologies for free.

Phoenix Point Soldier Classes Guide

The development of In the Valley of Gods has been suspended

Developed by the Campo Santo studio, Firewatch is a game that you’ll love for sure if you’re a fan of narrative adventures. Since 2017, the studio is working on a new game that should be pretty similar called In The Valley of Gods. A trailer announcing a release for the year 2019 had been published, but it seems that the game will not see the day anytime soon, and the reason is no other than another recently announced game, Half-Life: Alyx.

The development of In the Valley of Gods is indeed suspended for the moment, but to be absolutely fair Half-Life: Alyx is not the only responsible. Campo Santo was bought in 2018 by Valve, and it turns out that a number of key members of the studio have been somehow requisitioned to work on Valve’s next game. The fans of Firewatch, which have been eagerly awaiting In The Valley of Gods for a while, were the ones that first detected that something was happening. Some of them noticed that several people working on the project had withdrawn any reference to the game in their respective twitter bios last month. The doubts of the fans are confirmed today, since Jake Rodkin co-founder of the original studio, expressed himself on this subject in an interview granted to Polygon:

“For fans waiting for In the Valley of Gods, it’s probably clear that the optimistic “2019” at the end of the announcement trailer will not be realistic. In the end, Valve Time makes fun of us all. But yes, the developers of the former Campo Santo team have joined other projects at Valve, including Half-Life: Alyx “

In The Valley of Gods

He nuances everything by stating that. Even if this suspension of the development is regrettable, being part of Valve offers tremendous opportunities. In The Valley of Gods is not canceled at the moment, just on a break. We hope that this break will not be a final one and that development will resume one day or another so that we can enjoy this narrative adventure game.

How To Carry 8 Soldiers On Transporter In Phoenix Point

How To Carry 8 Soldiers On Transporter In Phoenix Point
Want to increase your Manticores capacity to take the full 8/8 into battle? This guide explains How To Carry 8 Soldiers On Transporter In Phoenix Point as what initially seems a potential upgrade option, is actually hidden behind faction alliances and shared technology.

Eagle eyed players will likely notice that you are able to take up to 8 individual soldiers or units into most missions. However, when you first begin your attempt at reviving the Phoenix Point faction, you’ll find that your primary mode of transport is limited to carrying 6 soldiers, the Manticore.

How To Carry 8 Soldiers On Transporter In Phoenix Point

increase your Manticores capacity
At this moment, we have not discovered any way of improving or advancing individual technologies outside of the initial research. The Manticore’s capacity limit of 6 is something you cannot change, improve, or upgrade. However, you can carry 8 troops into battle through relations with other factions.

As an example, the powerful Tiamat has a capacity score of 8. This means it is able to transport up to 8 individual units anywhere on the Geoscape but the Tiamat is not a technology native to the Phoenix Point faction.

You must raise your relationship level with a faction to reach at least “Aligned” level with that particular faction. You increase your reputation with a faction by completing missions, saving Havens, and some choices and consequences.

Once you have reach Aligned with a faction you will get a wash of new Research options available called “Shared Research”. These are all instantly researched and a free of cost. Align with a faction to receive the technology for their transporter to increase your carry capacity of soldiers.

Pillars of Eternity II is coming to consoles

Obsidian Entertainment managed to reinvent the wheel when they launched Pillars of Eternity. Tasked with the very complicated mission of creating a role-playing game inspired by one of the most popular games of all time, the developers managed to design a game that is both a spiritual successor of Baldur’s Gate and completely different in the gameplay mechanics. The setting of Pillars of Eternity series has no relation with Dungeons and Dragons and the way the stat system works has absolutely nothing to do with the system used in the classic games.

Even though some players may have had some difficulty grasping the new concept, Obsidian has done a brilliant job creating a new universe that was a big hit among the fans of the genre. The original Pillars of Eternity was first followed by The White March expansion, which came in two parts that greatly expanded the content in the game. Later on, we would see Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, a sequel that continues the story in the first game, allowing us to explore a pirate-infested archipelago as we chase a revived God.

With new characters and plenty of lands and quests to discover, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is a worthy successor of the original game, and it was received very well by the players. There is even an Ultimate Edition that includes all the extra contents released for the game after it was launched, and this edition is exactly what the console players will be able to experience when Pillar of Eternity II: Deadfire is made available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 28, 2020. There is also a version for Nintendo Switch coming in the future, but no release date has been confirmed for it. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is a very good way of quenching your thirst for good role-playing games while you wait to see what Baldur’s Gate III has to offer, and you can find the best prices with our comparator.
