Even if you are not one of the followers of the My Hero Academia manga series you may recognize some of the characters present in it. The Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi has become quite popular all over the world, and as it happened with other manga series there are also video games based on them. We could see it happening with the Dragon Ball franchise, which includes plenty of videogames and is getting Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot in the future.
My Hero One’s Justice follows the same pattern. It’s a fighting video game based on the characters and the story of My Hero Academia. In the universe of the game, there are people that manifest superpowers known as “quirks”. Those powers allow them to become superheroes or supervillains and the manga follows the story of a group of teenage superheroes who attend an academy to learn how to make use of their powers and become true heroes in the future. It’s the perfect scenario for a fighting game that pits heroes and villains in epic fights. The sequel to My Hero One’s Justice seems to be following the same path as its predecessor and it will be a 3D brawler based on the events in the fourth season of My Hero Academia.
My Hero One’s Justice 2 will include fan-favorite characters from the series that were present in the first game, like Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Tomura Shigaraki, but also new characters like Sir Nighteye. On the gameplay side, a new mechanic will allow sidekicks to perform plus ultra attacks during battles among other novelties.
