Fortnite x John Wick is happening!

Let the hunt begin!

In connection to the release of John Wick 3, Epic Games also launched a new crossover event for their globally-acclaimed Battle Royale game Fortnite. The crossover is divided into two parts:

First one lets player purchase a John Wick skin and assorted gear. Players can now impersonate their beloved John Wick by unlocking various customization options available in the game.

The other one is a new limited time mode called Wick’s Bounty which is already live on all platforms, along with challenges and multiple rewards that you can get. The free rewards include the Back Bling, the one-Shot Glider, and the Boogeyman Wrap. Although, if you have some extra V-bucks to spare, you can get a John Wick outfit and a Simple Sledge Pickaxe.

Here’s the trailer for the event:

Fortnite x John Wick: Wick’s Bounty is now available for solo and duos. Epic described the event as:

The High Table has opened a new contract. It’s up to you to collect the bounty. Stay alive and collect gold tokens by eliminating the other bounty hunters. The first one to fulfill the order wins, but be careful how far ahead you get, as you will become a target for everyone else.

This means that the number of victims you kill are turned into gold coins. This is a race to the top and whoever gets to collect 1,000 coins first wins the match. But be careful, because making it to the top means that you will be the target for everyone else below you, since your name will appear in the map for everyone, making you the easiest target to locate.

This is the second crossover in Fortnite this year since the Avengers: Endgame event was held less than a month ago. This shows that Epic is indeed pretty serious about their crossovers and we might be able to see more in the months to come.
