Released last July, Fire Emblem: Three Houses had raised a lot of expectations among fans of the series since its announcement in 2017. Although the game’s release was supposed to take place initially in 2018, that did not stop it from winning a great success with the players. A success partly based on the fact that Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the first episode of the series to be released on a home console since Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, released in 2008 on Wii.

It was announced before the release that Fire Emblem: Three Houses would be getting four waves of additional content. Players have already been able to get the first three, which include new outfits and items, among other things, and they will soon be able to get the fourth wave. During a live broadcast on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which revealed the latest fighter in the Fighters Pass, who is none other than Byleth, we got some news regarding the latest DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Called Cindered Shadows, it will be released on Nintendo Switch on February 13, and will bring a new story. It will add to the game a fourth house, the Ashen Wolves, which features four new characters: Yuri, Constance, Balthus, and Hapi. Cindered Shadows will also include a new area, called the Abyss, which lies deep inside the Garreg Mach Monastery. It should also be an opportunity to see new classes, as the trailer suggests. It also seems that the calendar system will not be in use in this new story, which will be accessed separately from the main storyline and that will, therefore, have its own save. However, once you complete the DLC, you will be able to recruit the four characters from the House of Ashen Wolves in the main story.

Cindered Shadows will be available on February 13 via the Fire Emblem: Three Houses Extension Pass. And you can find it at the best price on our comparator, just like the basic game.
