FIFA 20 aims to offer the players the most realistic football experience, and that also includes the events outside of the pitch. EA Sports’s game is the football title with more licensed teams and one of the most complete football simulators when it comes to gameplay and management options. But it seems that EA Sports is also determined to match certain real-life events. Every year, the FIFA organizes a ceremony to award the best football players and we are also getting something similar in video games.

EA Sports organized an event to choose the FIFA 20 Team of the Year, and the players have been the ones to decide who is in it.

“For the first time, you can have your say on who makes the FIFA 20 Team of the Year. Choose the Ultimate XI from the squad of 55 players who lit up the world of football in 2019 and your vote will count towards the final FIFA 20 Team of the Year. The final Team of the Year will be announced in January, when special TOTY Player Items will be released in FUT Packs for a limited time in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.”

Well, the chosen date has arrived and EA Sports has revealed the FIFA 20 Team of the Year, which includes Alisson Becker, Andrew Robertson, Matthijs de Ligt, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, N’Golo Kante, Frenkie De Jong, Kevin De Bruyne, Sadio Mane, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi.

FIFA 20 Team of the Year

We are quite sure that you have your own opinion about the eleven chosen players whether you are an avid FIFA 20 player or not, but those have been the ones voted by the majority of people that took part in the election. If you want to see your favorite player among those, you will have to wait until next year. We are sure that EA will repeat the contest with FIFA 21.
