While we still have to wait until April 16, 2020, to play Cyberpunk 2077, we are slowly getting more information about the game and its gameplay.

In an interview given by quest designer Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, he said that the content would not be locked depending on which character you play as, but to see everything you’ll likely need to play more than once. Of course, the real gem from this interview comes when the interviewer asks: are there multiple endings? And he receives a very straightforward answer: “yes, there are.” It sounds like we will enjoy playing Cyberpunk 2077 multiple times, and we can choose how we play the game, as stealth or brute force are options, but you can also finish the game without having to kill anyone.

Can you get out of this situation just by talking?

One interesting feature is the chip that V has, that will translate certain languages on the fly as you encounter them, and that happens live on screen as you watch the subtitles change into English. CDPR stated you’ll unlock more languages as you progress rather than having to buy them individually, essentially gating parts of the world off with a literal language barrier.

Cyberpunk 2077 lead quest designer Pawel Sasko explained at the E3 that the flying vehicles are all part of the scripted sequences, so while there are moments that V is in the flying vehicle, you will not be able to drive them. You will have to stick to ground vehicles.

“I would have to spoil you a bit of the story, I don’t want to, but there are moments when you are in the flying vehicle, but you cannot drive it yourself over the city. For that, you have all kinds of cars, all kinds of motorcycles. It feels pretty good, actually, to be honest.”

Regarding other vehicles, you won´t be able to drive boats either but it´s possible to take a dip into the water and go for a swim, so expect to find some quests related to that.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Driving

It’s also been revealed that we will have a lot of different areas to explore not only in Night City but also outside. As a player, it is also possible to start as one of the nomads living in the Badlands. You can go outside of Night City and explore the ruins of the area that was mostly destroyed after all the droughts and everything that happened in the 50 years from 2020 to ‘77. Exploring that area you will get specific quests and also open world content.

Cyberpunk 2077 is becoming more and more appealing as more info is revealed. We can’t wait to see more of the game in advance of what’s coming when it’s released next year.
