Spyro and Company, the third and last Grand Prix of the first season of Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, has been completed recently, and it is time to look to the future and see what the remaster of CTR has in store for us. This grand prize added to the game exclusive content based on the famous dragon, like a new circuit, a new kart, various cosmetic items and Spyro itself, of course.

If we already knew that Beenox and Activision were already booking a second season, its content was previously unknown. We learn a little more about it today through a tweet published on the official account of Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled.

There are, therefore, three new Grand Prix that will be released until the end of the year, as the first three have been available during the summer.

The first, Spooky, honors Nina Cortex, who is none other than Neo Cortex’s niece. The new circuit Nina’s Nightmare, and a new kart will be part of it. We imagine that this grand prize will start very soon since its theme clearly refers to Halloween.

The second, Neon Circus, looks quite colorful at first sight, with a Carnival circuit, a pressurizer kart, and a character still unknown, or almost. Most of the reviews point towards Pasadena O’Possum, which appeared in Crash Tag Team Racing.

Finally, Winter Festival will conclude this trio of Grand Prix at the end of this year. In it, we will discover the Gingerbread Joyride circuit, the sleigh-like Nitro Sleigh kart, and an unidentified character. One hypothesis suggests that this character would be a concept never used in the game, having the appearance of a hippopotamus, which would be fitted with reindeer antlers for the occasion.

We will have to wait a little longer to know more about these three new Grand Prix since no release date has been announced yet, but the first one should be available pretty soon.
