The world of gaming’s biggest orange marsupial returns with Toys for Bob’s upcoming release of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. In honor of this retro revival, Gamers Heroes takes a look at a unique rendition of the main character.

Modeled by Ellie, Australian photographer KayleighJune got these unique shots of Crash Bandicoot in a Harajuku style. This is part of a project that she did with Leisa Stephenson (who did the makeup), where they take inspiration from specific video games and combine it with the Japanese Harajuku style to create a series of fashion images. To complete the look, Carly Lancaster did the styling.

Though she mentioned that this is not cosplay, we are willing to bend the rules and feature it as part of our segment this week.
