Dead or Alive 6: Deluxe demo available today

While the release of the next installment of the Dead or Alive series, developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, is coming soon, you will be able to try it free for 2 days. Indeed, Dead or Alive 6, after being postponed, will be released on March 1st on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. And it is through a tweet published by Koei Tecmo that we learned that a deluxe demo, acting as an open beta, will be held from February 22 to 25 on PS4 and Xbox One for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The demo is available right now.

In the last few weeks, several trailers have been published to present the different characters of Dead or Alive 6. If you already have your favorites, here is good news. In this Deluxe demo, the 24 characters of the game will be playable! As for the rest of the content, you can have a preview of the story mode, however, only the intro will be available, not to spoil the players we imagine. You will also have plenty of time to try the different characters in the training mode, that includes a tutorial and a free training mode, as well as the “combo challenge” and the “command training”. Finally, if this demo is reserved for players with a subscription, it’s not for nothing, because you can also try the multiplayer during online games.

Dead or Alive 6 – Jann Lee VS Zack

Be aware that Team Ninja warns us on its official website that “The online versus mode of this” Deluxe Demo “will include only a limited number of features and will therefore be different from the final product”. This is the opportunity to discover Dead or Alive 6 as a whole, while keeping some surprises for the official release.

And to find Dead or Alive 6 at the best price, whatever your platform is, just go to our comparator.

A full list of Jump Force DLC Characters has been leaked

Jump Force by Bandai Namco

Jump Force
is a massive manga crossover that features most of your favorite anime heroes. It offers you forty-two playable characters from the most famous series in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and will also have nine extra characters that will be added to the game through DLC, coming this May. Many fans have been speculating about who the new characters will be and they are already eagerly waiting for their release.

It could have been a long wait until their names were made public if not for a data miner named SergioM3 who leaked the full list of the Jump Force DLC characters. It hasn’t been a full week since the game launched but miners like Sergio just couldn’t keep their hands off and had to know who are the possible Jump Force DLC characters.

SergioM3 managed to datamine the game’s files after the 1.03 update. There, he found the list of the DLC characters neatly stacked. The nine characters are as follows:

Jump Force Character Pass coming this May

  • Trafalgar D. Water Law (One Piece)
  • Madara Uchiha (Naruto)
  • Buu (Dragon Ball Z)
  • Biscuit Krueger (Hunter x Hunter)
  • Katsugi Bakugo (My Hero Academia)
  • All Might (My Hero Academia)
  • Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Bleach)
  • Hitsugaya Toshiro (Bleach)
  • Set Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh!)

Nonetheless, this leak has caused some problems among players. Some fans find the list satisfying enough while others stopped playing it because their favorite characters aren’t added as part of the Jump Force DLC characters. Everything is a still a rumor until Bandai Namco releases their official statement but looking at the video by SergioM3, it does look pretty convincing.

Regardless of the list, you should remember that if you bought the Ultimate Edition of the game you will get all the nine Jump Force DLC characters for free but if you have the standard edition, you will need to purchase the Character Pass to get those extra characters.
Take a look at our comparator to know that you are getting the best price for your favorite games.

Thimbleweed Park is free on Epic Games Store

Fortnite creators have a good habit of giving away free games every now and then through their gaming platform. Super Meat Boy and Subnautica have been a couple of examples since they started with this policy, but now it´s the turn of a new title. You can get Thimbleweed Park on Epic Games Store already, completely free of charge. All you need to do is visit the store page, log in with your account or create a new one if you don’t have one, and then claim the game. It will be added to your list of games permanently so you can install and play it anytime you want.

Thimbleweed Park is a third-person graphic adventure with a style similar to classic games like Maniac Mansion or Day of the Tentacle. The game takes place in an unfrequented town that shares the name of the game. Thimbleweed Park seems to be your average little town where nothing happens, but things get complicated when a corpse appears floating in the river. FBI agents Ray and Reyes are sent to investigate the murder. When they arrive at the place and start talking to the inhabitants, they realize that there is far more than what they expected behind this crime and that in Thimbleweed Park, no matter how tranquil the place seems to be, everyone has secrets they want to hide.

Thimbleweed Park is already available to be claimed for free on Epic Games Store, and it will stay like that until March 7, 2019. You have enough time to decide if you want it or not. After that, a new title will replace it. In this case, it will be Slime Rancher, a first-person shooter where you will have to fight and capture slimes.

Anthem Updates: Load Times, Challenges, and Patch Notes Revealed

BioWare’s Anthem, February 22nd

Anthem is coming out for all players before the end of the week but it is already live for those with early access. BioWare has already revealed that Anthem will have a day one update that will address the issues and complaints that some players are still experiencing. The list of the things to be changed in Anthem ranges from performance to UI, and it even includes some glitches during missions. This list of changes and updates is a bit too long and some are questioning EA’s decision of releasing it this month in the first place. They could probably use their time to work and polish it a bit more before they drop it on us. But oh well, that’s their choice to make.

Even with the length of the patch notes being huge, the update focuses mainly on just a few main areas. It fixes the problem with endless loading screens that some players were getting, and it also reduces the loading times. It addresses numerous problems that were causing players to get disconnected during the game. The tracking of missions, challenges, and achievements seems to be working properly now. Finally, it lets you skip some cinematics after the missions, speeding up things a bit.

If you want, you can check the whole list of specific changes included in the patch here, but with so many updates and improvements one could be surprised if Anthem isn’t the best game in the bunch this month. Still, for avid Anthem gamers out there, check out our comparator to see the best deal available for you.

The Division 2 is having a Technical Test for PC

Starting today and finishing tomorrow Friday, February 22, Ubisoft will do some extra testing on Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, exclusive to selected PC users. This technical test phase probably will be used to see if the fixes they have done after the private beta from earlier this month work properly. It will also serve as preparation to offer a smoother experience to the players participating in the Open Beta that will be held on the beginning of March and that was announced a few days ago.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 – Agents on the march

The test will feature content similar to the one players experienced during the private beta. Photo Mode, Endgame, and Conflict will not be available for players to try so they will be restricted to two main story and five side missions. Players will not be allowed to invite their friends to form a group either. The invitations to the event will be assigned randomly, and Ubisoft will contact the chosen ones via email. It is restricted to PC, so if you were waiting to try it on other platforms you are out of luck, and you will have to wait for the Open Beta.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 – Open Beta Announcement

On the good side of the matter, the NDA has been lifted for this event, so if you are eager to watch more Tom Clancy´s The Division 2 gameplay, we are sure that there will be a lot of videos popping up through the weekend. If you want to find the best price for the game on any platform, you can visit our comparator anytime.

Crackdown 3: Free bonuses available for download now!

Released on February 15, just a few days ago, Crackdown 3 made a dazzling launch. Indeed, according to the ranking established by the site True Achievements, Sumo Digital’s title rose to the third position of the most played games on Xbox One, just behind Fortnite and Apex Legends, who wins the first place.

Obviously, it’s the single-player campaign that has won the hearts of players. The Wrecking Zone multiplayer mode seems to be somewhat shunned by the players for the moment, and the reason is simply that this mode does not currently allow you to invite your friends to join a party. But do not panic, because an update note was published yesterday on the official website of Crackdown 3 announcing that the team is currently working to include this feature in the game, and it should be added soon.

Meanwhile, we also learned that Crackdown 3 has a free download bonus pack available now. The pack contains “The Hooker”, an armored vehicle equipped with a machine gun turret, “Commander Jaxon Ultimate Outfit” that boosts your strength and explosive skills by 10%, and finally, a rather crazy weapon, “The Quackhammer”, a rocket launcher that launches… explosive ducks.

Crackdown 3 – The Quackhammer

Finally, the developers have announced that a new update should be deployed next week. We will be sure to keep you informed.

As a reminder, Crackdown 3 was released on February 15, exclusively on Xbox One and PC, and it’s compatible with Xbox Play Anywhere. To get it at the best price, have a look at our comparator.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice trailer features Lady Butterfly

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Lady Butterfly

Just last month, we were pleasantly hyped when they gave us a video trailer showing off the boss Gyuobo Masataka Oniwa. This time, they gave us yet another one.

It is a new day for all the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice fans as Activision and From Software revealed yet another enemy, the Lady Butterfly. Physically speaking, Lady Butterfly is an elderly woman with deathly glare and crazy skills. Despite her age, you can see that her experience and fighting skill is almost unparalleled.

The trailer is short, on-point, and it shows Lady Butterfly in a burning temple. There is not much action going on in the teaser, just Lady Butterfly showing up and wielding a sword skilfully and before it all ended, we are gifted with a cliffhanging question: how will Sekiro defeat this seemingly formidable enemy?

If you remember, Lady Butterfly boss fight was shown to media about a month ago, but without any hints of gameplay. It was said to be a perfect example of how Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is like Dark Soul’s wild boss fights. It´s just that in Sekiro, players are free to create more complex fight sequences.

Lady Butterfly is undoubtedly fast and has some tricks up her sleeves. Players must be dying to know more. This trailer is just something that you can munch until the game is officially released on March 22nd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the minimum requirements needed to play Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice here before the big day arrives.

Visit our comparator if you want to pre-order Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice now at the best price.

Darkest Dungeon 2 is coming

Red Hook Studios have announced a sequel to the critically-acclaimed role-playing game Darkest Dungeon. They have published a teaser that shows a group formed by the well-known heroes that survived to the nightmarish events in the original game. This time they seem to be moving to a new and terrifying location, the Howling End.

The previous Darkest Dungeon is a very popular side-scroll gothic adventure in 2D with turn-based combat. On it, you control a group of heroes that are helping you to reclaim the states that you have inherited from your ancestors. The place is overrun by monsters of all types and corruption. Nothing new at this point, but then the game manages to make use from quite original mechanics to hook you with gameplay that differs a lot from what you are used to see on any other RPG.

Darkest Dungeon – Boss fight

The heroes are expendable, and you can recruit more of them anytime. Once they get to explore the different dungeons that you can find in the game, they will have to deal with horrific creatures and events that not only will have an impact on their health but will also plague their minds with unbearable stress and mental afflictions of all types. Getting them equipped and sane enough to face the monstrosities in the place is not an easy task at all, and that’s one the most attractive thing of the game, its difficulty.

Darkest Dungeon – Too much stress

After the original release, a few DLCs were added to the game. The Crimson Court featured vampire-like creatures and a new blood-related mechanic; The Color of Madness introduced a gauntlet type of event where you face waves of enemies and bosses to earn a new currency that allows you to buy very powerful items. Some new heroes were also added as part of those or on separate DLCs.

We are not sure yet of what type of perilous creatures we will have to face in Darkest Dungeons 2, but we can recognize some of the heroes from the previous installment in the teaser (Plague Doctor, Man-at-Arms, Hellion, Highwayman, Leper, and Grave Robber). We expect a lot of surprises in the new game since Red Hook Studios have already unveiled that the game mechanics have been tuned up and that they are working hard to make the metagame quite different to the one in the previous game.

There is no launch date announced for Darkest Dungeons 2 yet, but we expect to see it on Early Access soon.
