Where To Find Vulpix In Pokemon Sword & Shield

Where To Find Vulpix In Pokemon Sword & Shield
Not all of the 1st generation of Pokemon made the cut, but Vulpix did. This guide explains Where To Find Vulpix In Pokemon Sword & Shield so you can add one of the original fiery bad-asses to your party in the brand new Pokemon game on the Switch.

The original cast of 150 Pokemon feature a variety of strong Fire types but few shared the power and visual splendor of Vulpix, especially when evolved into the more powerful Ninetails. Both can learn some of the strongest Fire moves in the game, so it’s a great addition to any team looking to add a bit more heat to its lineup.

Where To Find & Catch Vulpix In Pokemon Sword & Shield

Vuplix can be found in the Wild Area, here on the map. Vulpix will only be out during the day time and when it is clear skies.

Vulpix Location Pokemon Sword and shield

Head to this location and you can track down a Vulpix for yourself. Vulpix is a Fire type Pokemon, which means it’s weak to Water. Be very careful when using a Water Pokemon. While you can take a lot of Fire hits, you can kill Vulpix easily. It’s best to use a Water Pokemon that has some basic Normal moves, like Tackle. This way your defense remains high and you won’t accidentally kill Vulpix in a single attack.

Wear down Vulpix to low HP, use status moves like Sleep if you are struggling, then toss your ball and hope for the best.

How To Evolve Farfetch’d In Pokemon Sword

How To Evolve Farfetch'd In Pokemon Sword
Evolving Farfetch’d in Pokemon Sword is a bit tricky because it is not a stone or level requirement. Check out this guide to find out how to evolve Farfetch’s in Pokemon Sword. This way you can see SirFetch’d for yourself.

How To Evolve Farfetch’d In Pokemon Sword

In order to evolve Farfetch’d, you must use him. A Farfetch’d evolves after many battles and victories. I didn’t have an exact count on mine, but I want to say around 25 or so? I had him in my part for roughly 80 but only used him in battle a tiny bit. When he didn’t evolve from just being in my part, I put him as mine main pokemon and farmed with him. 20 or so kills later he then evolved in SirFetch’d.

He was halfway between level 37-38 when it happened so it wasn’t because he leveled, it was because he had fought enough. Still, I do assume he has to be above level 20 to actually evolve. If anyone has a more exact number of battles that it takes, leave us a comment. Oh and it is worth noting that he fainted once during all of this, and evolved shortly after so it doesn’t reset.
