Learn more about the two epic story modes coming to Bandai Namco’s Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions with the latest trailer for the game.

In Episode: Tsubasa, players will get the chance to experience the story of Tsubasa Ozora as he ventures out to claim glory for Japan on the soccer field. Episode: New Hero, on the other hand, has players customizing their own characters. After they make the character of their dreams, they can experience an all-new adventure that has been tailor made around their own journey to greatness.

Along the way, players can face off against tough superteams from around the world, including Italy, Germany, Uruguay, England, Senegal, the USA, and other locales. Tying everything together is an exciting storyline, countless over-the-top signature shots, and a number of powerful rivals.

CAPTAIN TSUBASA: RISE OF NEW CHAMPIONS – Game System Trailer

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on August 28, 2020. The title will launch in a Standard Edition, Collector’s Edition (which comes with a figurine), Legends Edition (which comes with a football table), and Champions Edition (which comes with a customized football jersey and artboard).

A season pass will also come to the game at a later date, which includes a character pass, nine DLC players, and a new champions uniform set.
