Minecraft Dungeons shows extended gameplay

We all know have heard about Minecraft, a game that transports you to a world where you can build anything you like. Not only you can create a world of your liking, but you can also play inside it too. That is pretty much the premise that Minecraft Dungeons will follow when it’s launched. It will allow you to play a role-playing game adventure in a Minecraft-made fantasy world. Featuring RPG mechanics and an isometric third-person view, Minecraft Dungeons is a spin-off the original game that will allow up to four players to cooperate as they explore dungeons, fight against countless creatures, gather loot and have fun together.

A new gameplay video that shows almost half an hour of gameplay shows several features of Minecraft Dungeons. You can watch it below.

Minecraft Dungeons is an adventure inspired by classic dungeon crawlers where the players will traverse a multitude of maps in order to destroy the evil Arch-Illager. As you navigate through the different procedurally generated levels of the game, you will have to solve puzzles and fight against endless hordes of enemies of all types, as you gather equipment and make yourself more powerful before the final fight. You can see the characters using a variety of consumable items with diverse effects in the video, and equipment that grants the wearer abilities, but nothing has been said about specific classes or skills in the game. The development of your character is directly liked to what you loot during the game.

Minecraft creator, Majong studio, has confirmed that they are exploring other possibilities too, so you may also see other Minecraft games that belong to different video game genres in the future. If you are a fan of Minecraft and the genre of role-playing games, this may be the game you are looking for. Minecraft Dungeons will be released for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in April 2020.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s first raid is available already

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint has had a rocky launch and for some reason, players have had problems getting accustomed to a game that should have been a success if it was just an improved version of its predecessor in the series, Ghost Recon Wildlands. Ubisoft is quite aware of this, and they even laid out some plans to solve all the issues a few weeks ago. Their last attempt to improve the gameplay experience is the introduction of the first-ever raid of the Ghost Recon franchise, Project Titan.

Project Titan raid will have you and your group of Ghosts facing the most challenging mission you have been ever tasked with: to assault an impregnable island where a group of rogue Wolves has taken control of the most technologically advanced weapons developed by Skell. If you have been playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you already know what the Aurora archipelago has to offer, but this new mission will take you to the brand new Golem Island, a place away from the main island where there is a secret Skell base. The Red Wolves have infiltrated the place and reprogrammed the AI that controls it, in order to control the production of experimental drones. You have received intel about four prototypes of those weapons of destruction and your mission is to eradicate them before they can be massively produced to create an army of lethal machines.

Project Titan is only accessible by players with a Gear Score level 150 or higher. Due to the nature of the encounters, you must jump into the mission with a group of three other Ghosts. You can find a group through the matchmaking system of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, but it’s highly advisable that you maintain a good level of communication with the other members of your team. You will have to plan strategies on the fly and react to multiple threats and it’s not something that you will be able to achieve unless you work as a team.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint – Project Titan Raid

Project Titan features several boss fights and you will be able to save your progress after you beat each of them. Your progress won’t be maintained between sessions though, so you should plan ahead your Ghost Recon Breakpoint playing times and your breaks if you want to complete the full raid. Once you beat a boss you will get a variety of rewards from a loot pool. Those can include four new unique weapon master plans (CTMMG Baal, Vector Control Room, KOBLIN, and BOSG12) and pieces of four new class armor sets (Assault, Panther, Sharpshooter y Field Medic), as well as customization items, titles, emblems, attachments and more. The raid is reset every week.

Epic Games Store: more and more free games

Almost a year ago Epic Games launched its own launcher and its own shop, which as everyone knows, some people didn’t like. However, Epic Games offers each week one or two games for free since then. Tomorrow, you will be able to get one of the best platform games in recent years for free. But until then, you still have some time to get Bad North.

Bad North is a real-time tactical rogue-lite game in which you have to defend your kingdom. The king is dead, and the Vikings threaten to invade your land. The world of Bad North is made up of islands with buildings that you will need to defend with your units. If you succeed, you will earn money, which will allow you to upgrade these units. If you lose, the destroyed units are lost forever. Islands are procedurally generated and also provide a variety of bonuses, so you may have to choose which island to defend from among others, knowing that the Vikings are very close and that you can’t stretch your forces too thin.

Tomorrow, the next game offered by Epic Games will have us leaving the north to go to the Cross of Dreams. If you are a fan of the series, you will surely understand it, it is about Rayman Legends. This fifth episode of the main series and successor to Rayman Origins is arguably one of the best platform games available to date. Our heroes have been sleeping for a century, and the Bubble Dreamer’s nightmares have invaded the world and captured all the Teensies. So you will have to rescue them, solo or in coop mode, and give monsters a good beating. Six different worlds are available for you to explore, each ending with a musical level that will put your sense of rhythm to the test. You’ll unlock more than 40 playable characters, which include different varieties of Rayman, Globox, the Teensies, and the Warrior Princesses. You will also be able to participate in various solo challenges with time trial levels or face other players online during the daily and weekly challenges, without forgetting the Kung Foot. Rayman Legends also offers you beautiful graphics and a beautiful soundtrack, and it is a must-have title for all fans of platform games, signed by Michel Ancel and Christophe Heral.

Blizzard celebrates Black Friday with a free week of Overwatch

Black Friday is around the corner and in Blizzard Entertainment they want to celebrate it too. On occasion of the event, they have lowered the price on plenty of products in their Battle.net online shop and you can get games from their most popular series with nice discounts for a limited time, including Diablo, World of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Overwatch. You can also get Hearthstone packs with a 30% discount. But let’s face it, there are better deals out there and you can find the best prices using our comparator anytime, so those discounts are probably not impressive at all for you.

What may catch your attention is that Blizzard has launched a free trial that allows you to play its competitive first-person shooter Overwatch for a whole week. From November 26 to December 4, 2019, if you want to play Overwatch on PC, all you have to do is visiting the official website of the game and download it for free. You will have access to all that Overwatch has to offer, including all of the 31 heroes available, each of them with its own set of skills and specialization. You will then join a team of players and fight against other players in competitive arenas. Overwatch features several gameplay modes for you to choose and plenty of scenarios where to fight.

As it usually happens in these kinds of trials, any kind of progress that you make while playing during the trial period is saved and linked to your account, (you will have to create one if you don’t have one already from playing other games from Blizzard). If you decide to purchase the game anytime all you have to do is log in with your account and you will find all of your achievements there, being able to continue your progress just like that. Of course, to buy Overwatch at the cheapest price on all platforms you just need to visit our comparator. Remember that Overwatch 2 is in the works too, so you may want to try the first game and hone your skills a bit before you discover what’s coming.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to Steam very soon

In another chapter in the war between Valve and Epic Games for the exclusive release of games on their respective platforms, another big company makes a move. Rockstar Games has announced via Twitter that Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch on Steam on December 5.

This announcement puts an end to the exclusivity of Red Dead Redemption 2 on Epic Games Store and it means that all the Steam users that have been eagerly waiting for more than a year for Rockstar’s Western to be released on their platform will finally stop complaining about Epic Games Store. It’s been only a month since Red Dead Redemption 2 was launched on Epic Games Store. Undoubtedly, the strong position of Rockstar Games as the developer of the very popular GTA series has given them a better ground to negotiate with Epic Games, whose exclusive deals with most game developers usually last for a year.

Whatever the case has been, the only truth is that this is great news for the community of PC gamers. Although Red Dead Redemption 2 suffered from some issues when it was released on PC, Rockstar Games has done a very good job addressing them with patches and the game runs very smoothly now. If anything, the late release of the game on Steam may have saved its users a bit of patching time. Red Dead Redemption 2 is still one of the best games recently released and the single-player campaign is still awesome.

Regarding the multiplayer part of the game, arriving late at Red Dead Online may mean that you have missed a couple of events, but other than that, it’s not a huge difference for your character, as Red Dead Redemption 2 is not a competitive game where you may have a ludicrous difference in your game experience depending on the time you have been playing or your level. So all you have to do if you are willing to enjoy the game on December 5, is visiting our comparator to find the best prices for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC.

Top 10 Games of 2014 – The Year of Nintendo

Story 352688975

2014 marked the first full year of the current console generation, but somehow, Nintendo found a way to overshadow that and put out hit after hit on the WiiU and 3DS. Including honorable mentions, Nintendo has a hand in six of the games on this list.

Overall, this year lacked flashy game titles like those associated with Naughty Dog, Rockstar, or even Nintendo. A lot of this games fly under the radar in retrospect, but there are some real gems here, especially from Indie developers. The lineup packs a punch and delivers on some of the most important aspects of gaming: story, replayability, and exciting gameplay. These games amount to hundreds of hours of fun, whether it be with friends or solo.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

10. Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

“While the remakes don’t stack up to the GBA classics, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire bring the old favorites to a new generation, along with all the polish of generation 6. Catching them all is easier than ever with the dexnav, super training makes EV training easily accessible to newcomers to the competitive scene, and all your old favorite team members look better than ever. All the little tweaks make this return to Hoenn refreshing and the remastered soundtrack is the perfect cherry on top.” – Max Broggi-SumnerPokémon Ruby and Sapphire have a special place in my heart. It was the first time I had owned both versions of a Pokémon game. I replayed those games at least a dozen times. Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire brought back some of my favorite games in vastly superior versions. The soundtrack was revamped, graphics overhauled, and new Pokémon and online features had been added. It makes going back to the original that much more difficult.” – Nathanael Hueso

Bravely Default

9. Bravely Default

“Bravely Default is a perfect mixture of new and old JRPG traditions that appeal to players from all eras of gaming. The cutesy art style, epic story of heroes and villains, and job system are bound to draw in fans of the older Final Fantasy games. As to not just copy older traditions and hope to churn nostalgia, Bravely Default also has plenty of newer features that really make it worth playing.“The battle system stands out most here: players can store up their turns using a points system and use them all in one go. Some more powerful moves require you to have saved up a certain amount. Say you want to really lay down the hurt on a boss, you’ll probably want to save up points for your main attacker while maintaining the party’s HP with your White Mage. There are tons of challenging optional bosses too, most of which give you a new job class as a reward for beating them. This means you have to learn the ins and outs of each job before you can even use it.” – Lewis Mackin

Alien Isolation

8. Alien: Isolation

“For a first-person, horror title, Alien: Isolation is pretty damn long. What it manages to do, unlike many other scary games, is maintain the player’s sense of helplessness. The Xenomorph is constantly chasing you around the ship …
