Fire Emblem Three Houses Tea Party Guide

Fire Emblem Three Houses Tea Party Guide
Tea Parties are special events in Three Houses. This Fire Emblem Three Houses Tea Party Guide explains how to get better results in tea parties including the different conversational choices you can make and how better to gauge the interests of your guest.

After a certain part of the story, you unlock the ability to host a Tea Party. Much like giving flowers, on a characters birthday you can invite them to a Tea Party. As long as you answer at least two questions correctly, it’s always more beneficial than flowers – in terms of building Support with that character.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Tea Party Guide

The first choice you have is the type of tea you want to offer your guest. There are a LOT of tea variations so it’s very difficult to nail the right tea on the first attempt but use what you know about their personality to help. For example, Dedue is very steadfast and strong and is rather fond of Ginger Tea for its spicy kick.

After you offer your guest some tea, you’ll have to successfully answer a number of questions. The greater the successes, the greater the reward. Again, this is all very much depending on the guests personal likes and dislikes. Check out our Three Houses Likes/Dislikes guide for more details on character personalities.

If you successfully answer all questions a further mini-game opens where you can inspect the character more closely. Be sure to look at different parts of the characters as it prompts further conversation and more Support increases.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Motivation Guide

Fire Emblem Three Houses Motivation Guide
Motivation is very important for building strong characters in Three Houses. This Fire Emblem Three Houses Motivation Guide explains how to get the most out of different activities to ensure your students are at maximum motivation whenever a teaching opportunity comes your way.

Motivation represents your students ability to be taught. Each time you attempt to teach a student, it will cost 25 Motivation. Motivation ranges from 0 to 100, with 100 being the ideal level before every lecture. When you are participating in activities and events, Motivation is marked by a face. The grim blue face is 0 Motivation, orange is 25, yellow is 50, green is 75-100.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Motivation Guide

At the start of the game, you only have enough points to teach a few students each lesson. As such, you will usually find enough students with maximum Motivation to spend your teaching points. However, as you level, you will need your entire class to have maximum motivation.

When you are doing events, try not to waste the participant slots on students who already have maximum motivation. For example, if you sit down to eat with two students, don’t pick two students with 100 Motivation, pick those that need a boost.

Another fantastic method of increasing Motivation, that doesn’t require teacher points, is to give gifts. Check out our gift giving guide for the best gifts for each person.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Gardening Guide

Fire Emblem Three Houses Gardening Guide
Gardening is a rewarding activity you unlock early in Three Houses. This Fire Emblem Three Houses Gardening Guide walks you through the basics of gardening in the game including information on how long it takes for crops to grow, how to yield the best crops and the possibilities of rare item rewards.

During Chapter 1, Dedue has a side quest called Green Thumb Beginnings. Once you have completed this side quest, you have access to the Gardening mini-game. You can participate in Gardening whenever you are in the Monastery exploring. It does not take an action point to do Gardening.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Gardening Guide

Fire Emblem Three Houses Gardening Guide Special Items
At first, you are only able to plant a single seed. As your professor rank increases, you can plant more seeds and use more cultivation options. Spending money on cultivating drastically increases the yield of each crop, so once unlocked, it’s really worth doing.

As soon as you end exploration and leave the Monastery, the crops grow. This means you can return on your next free day and harvest the crops. The length of time you leave the crops to grow does not impact the amount you harvest.

When planting crops, especially at later levels, you want to pay special attention to a few things. The crop type, the level and the cultivation. If you plant different crops of the same variety and use higher level cultivating options, you will sometimes grow special items that offer permanent buffs to stats. For example, I grew a White, Blue and Pale-Blue Flower Seed with Bonemeal. When it was finished I got a Golden Apple, an item that permanently increases Charm by 1.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Budding Talent Guide

Fire Emblem Three Houses Budding Talent Guide
Wandering what the 3 star icons mean when instructing your students? This Fire Emblem Three Houses Budding Talent Guide explains the basics behind unlocking special skills via the instructing of particular students that have a history or desire to excel in a particular field.

Nearly all of the characters you can recruit in Fire Emblem Three Houses have the potential to unlock a Budding Talent. When you are instructing your students during lecture time, make sure to choose the manual option. When you see a list of the skills you can teach, you will find some have a small icon at the end, a cluster of three stars.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Budding Talent Guide

The three stars means that particular character can unlock a Budding Talent if enough time is spent training the skill. The exact amount of time required is different for each character but usually, advancing 1-2 tiers will be enough to unlock the Budding Talent. Budding Talents are not always the best idea. Sometimes a character that excels in Heavy Armor and Axe desires time researching Magic, which offers very little to the units ability in combat.

When deciding whether or not to invest in a Budding Talent, take the time to gauge whether or not the talent will be beneficial to the current training direction.
