How To Check Individual Values (IVs) In Pokemon Sword & Shield

How To Check Individual Values (IVs) In Pokemon Sword & Shield
If you want the strong Pokemon, you need the best IVs. This guide explains How To Check Individual Values (IVs) In Pokemon Sword & Shield as although its a vital feature for those looking to breed the ultimate Pokemon team, it’s hidden behind some extensive game progress.

Individual Values, more commonly referred to as IV’s, represents a Pokemon’s stat point potential. It’s what makes a Pokemon unique. For example, you can fight 6 different Pikachu’s and each will be different, because their stats are assigned different IV’s. The higher a Pokemon’s IV’s, the higher its stats will become. A Pokemon with max IV’s is the strongest version of that Pokemon you can find, not including EV training.

How To Check Individual Values (IVs) In Pokemon Sword & Shield

You can check IV’s in Pokemon Sword & Shield by unlocking the Judge feature. You must first complete the entire game, and then reach rank 4 at the Battle Tower. Once you have reached Rank 4, you can check your Pokemon’s IV at any box, even the one in your inventory.

Open your box, highlight a Pokemon and press the + button for View Stats, then press the + button again for Judge. This will give you a breakdown of a Pokemon’s IV’s. For the perfect Pokemon, you want the overall score to be Best.

  • No Good
  • Decent
  • Pretty Good
  • Very Good
  • Fantastic
  • Best

The Let’s Go Eevee and Let’s Go Pikachu you can get at the start of Sword and Shield both have perfect IV’s, so that’s a good place to start.

Timmy’s Cooking Show Review – Bloody Dreadful

Part cooking show, part FMV title, BMC Studios takes players to the kitchen with their new title Timmy’s Cooking Show. The concept is sound, but there’s just one problem: Timmy can’t cook.

Timmy’s Cooking Show Review

Following up on their previous title, the found footage disaster Unsubscribed: The Game, Tmmy’s Cooking Show kicks things off with a VOIP call over “Skloopy” and an apology. Steve is in some hot water over the fake Russian accent he did in the previous game, but his confession falls n deaf ears as Timmy attempts to plug the second episode of his cooking show. Choosing to watch his latest creation, the game finally gets underway.

That is, if you can call it a game. Essentially serving as an episode of a TV show, players will be watching far more than they are playing. After putting on his chef’s hat, Timmy hits the ground running, showing players how to make soup, a cake, pizza, mac and cheese, and other lazy dishes.

One would expect to learn a thing or two about food preparation, but the ingredients on hand simply aren’t up to the task. It starts out horribly from the get-go, where he says that “water is for p*ssies” when making soup and substitutes in store brand 7-Up instead. It gets far worse from there; canned hot dogs in soup, chocolate bars and pureed carrots on pizza, pepperoni in cakes, and spaghetti with soda are just a few of the obscenities Timmy concocts in his kitchen.

The stuff he makes is absolutely diabolical, and will no doubt trigger the gag reflex of all those watching. If that is not enough, players will finally watch Timmy eat his creations at the end of the title. One can see him struggling to not throw up throughout its runtime; it makes you wonder why he is subjecting both himself and the player to this torture.

He does try to make an attempt to entertain the player though. When he spills soda on his shirt, he takes it off to give players a new perspective. In addition, little text bubbles like “oof oof” also appear, though there is no context to these moments. The cameraman makes an admirable attempt to zoom in on certain objects, but it proves to be out of focus and disorienting every time it is attempted.

It’s a shame none of these work too, as Timmy’s Cooking Show is in real time. For those looking for jump cuts or something to break up the monotony, they’re out of luck; most segments are a continuous single take. This leads to stuttering and a heaping helping of repetition. Players will know the excruciating wait it takes for a cake to cook in real time once all is said and done here. To add insult to injury, the title runs for a little more than two hours – slightly longer than the alloted time Steam allows players to claim a refund.

Not all is lost though; there is some brief gameplay to be found. In a handful of moments in the title, players will be able to make a choice. None of these require too much insight – it more or less devolves into how Timmy is …

Anthem might be completely overhauled

We thought that BioWare had thrown in the towel with Anthem, but it seems that the franchise may be infused with renewed life sometime in the future. According to a report, the developers have plans to overhaul the game.

As you probably know, Anthem is pretty much dead right now. Even though the design of the game isn’t especially bad and it attracted quite a lot of attention before launch, Anthem has not managed to keep a healthy player base. You could blame this situation to a rocky launch full of technical problems, especially on consoles, but the problem really comes from the lack of endgame content. The story is nice, but once you are done with it, there is literally nothing in the game. Repeating a certain dungeon until you are lucky enough to get the legendary piece of gear that you want is not enough to keep people playing. The post-launch schedule planned for Anthem was delayed due to the necessity of polishing the game, so players were stuck for too long with nothing to do. As a result, most of the people that had some faith in the game eventually ended moving on and abandoning it. Right now, it’s not at a state where it’s able to compete with Destiny 2 or any other shooters in the genre.

Therefore, this rumor about Anthem being reworked into a 2.0 version is quite surprising. BioWare seems to be working on Dragon Age 4, and the amount of work that needs to be done with Anthem seems to be pretty huge if we consider that some core areas of the game may have to be changed, including the mission and loot systems.

If BioWare is working on bringing Anthem back to life, it would be great news for the people who believe that it’s a pity that a game with such a huge potential is forgotten in some dark corner of players’ videogames libraries. We will have to wait to discover if Anthem is being overhauled for real and if it’s worth playing it again.

Football Manager 2020 launches tomorrow

There are some football fans that want a bit more from their games, especially when it comes to managing your own football team. You can enjoy playing a football match on many games and there are several videogames franchises that focus on that aspect of the sport, like FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer, but the Football Manager series is the one that also offers you the best management simulation of them all.

With Football Manager 2020 launching tomorrow, the fans will have at their disposal not only a title that refreshes a few faces and team compositions along with some technical upgrades but also a new management system that will make the simulation even more real. Football Manager 2020 gives more importance to the long term development of your team. You will be part of a project and work hard to achieve several goals. The new Club Vision feature contributes to that with a new boardroom experience that allows you to see the future objectives of your club in a plan that spans through five years. Even though you will be able to negotiate particular goals for every season depending on the situation of the club, this system allows you to develop your team in a more realistic way.

To support the new club Vision system, Football Manager 2020 also introduces changes to the backroom staff, adding new roles and more detailed feedback and advice about the performance of your team and every player. The Development Centre hub lets you track the progress of your players, including youth and reserve teams. All these tools allow you to give shape to your team and your strategy to achieve the goals set for your club.

But these are not the only changes coming to the series with Football Manager 2020. This new installment also comes with plenty of graphics improvements that range from the player models to the pitches and how weather affects them, along with a new lighting system that makes the match experience much better.

If managing a football team is your dream, Football Manager 2020 is the game you should be playing, and it will be available on PC from tomorrow.

Pokemon Sword & Shield Ribbons Guide

Pokemon Sword & Shield Ribbons Guide
How do you get them? What do they do? We answer all your Ribbon related questions in our Pokemon Sword & Shield Ribbons Guide. We’ll tell you where you can find your Ribbons, how you can equip them to your Pokemon, and what effects Ribbons have on your closest allies.

Jumping straight into the meat of it, Ribbons are a visual bonus, a nice touch, a little something more for your closest Pokemon. They don’t have any effects on your Pokemon’s ability to battle or survive, but they act as a reminder of the great deeds you have achieved together.

You can find Pokemon’s Ribbons in the Ribbons section of the Summary screen for any Pokemon. Usually it’s blank, unless you have unlocked a Ribbon with that Pokemon.

Pokemon Sword & Shield Ribbons Guide

You earn Ribbons by completing special tasks in Pokemon Sword & Shield. For example, increasing your friendship to the maximum level rewards you with the Best Friends Ribbon. Once a Pokemon has fought close to 200-300 battles, they can get the Effort Ribbon. Finally, the last Ribbon we discovered, the Galar Champion Ribbon, awarded to Pokemon that were in your party after you completed the final fight in the story mode.

As I said previously, Ribbon’s have no real impact but they do give your Pokemon a nickname, a title. For example, I equipped my Gyarados with the Best Friends Ribbon. Now, whenever I summon Gyarados in a fight, my character summons “Gyarados, The Great Friend”.

You can see if you have earned these Ribbons by visiting the Effort Ribbon Giver and Best Friends Ribbon Giver in Hammerlocke. It’s the house to the right of the central Pokemon Center. We’re sure there’s plenty of more Ribbons to unlock but that covers the basics of Ribbons in Sword & Shield.

Pokemon has always featured some exciting end-game content to keep you engaged far past the initial story. While Pokemon Sword & Shield don’t boast the extensive end-game options in some of the games, there is still a lot to do once you have finished the story.

Track Down Your Legendary
