Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is going to challenge your survival skills.

Private Division and Panache Digital Games just announced that their debut title, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is coming out on August 27, 2019, for PC. It will launch digitally on PS4 and Xbox One in December 2019.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is set in the beautiful and expansive land of Africa ten million years ago. Players will take on the role of one of the ancestors of the human race who have survived and adapted to the harsh environment of Neogene Africa. As a clan leader, you are responsible for the health of your clan, and you must protect them at all cost.

You will find yourself fighting against predators, searching for food, taking care of ill clan members, and helping the clan to grow. In the course of the game, the territory of your clan will expando and hoy must help it to evolve and ensure that your clan can advance from one generation to the next one. Explore the perilous but beautiful lands of the Africa of old and show you clan that your abilities are helpful enough to progress through the years.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is a game about player evolution, discovery, and survival. Patrice Desilets Co-founder and Creative Director of Panache Digital Games shared that the goal for the game is to give the players an experience that they have never lived before. Although a small team created and game, it’s bound to be promising. Every one of them is doing their best to make the game as immersive as possible. With a unique setting, this game is meant to captivate gamers of all types.
