It’s always gloomy in A Plague Tale: Innocence launch trailer, isn’t it?

Are you ready for A Plague Tale: Innocence?

One of the biggest releases this month is coming out tomorrow. Focus Home Interactive has been focused lately on the launch of A Plague Tale: Innocence. The project’s premise is a good one, and from we could see in the announcement and the trailers we can anticipate that it will be quite an interesting game.

As we have explained in previous posts already, A Plague Tale: Innocence is a very dark and emotional story. The gameplay is a mix of survival, adventure, and action revolving around the lives of Amicia and her little brother Hugo as they both try to survive in very bad circumstances. On the run from mad Inquisitors and pestilent rodents running wild, players will guide the children as they progress through the story, discovering that even the most innocent souls are capable of doing unexpected things when they are in dire need or danger.

The game will be released tomorrow but before that, check out A Plague Tale: Innocence launch trailer.

The launch trailer shows how bad the situation is in medieval France at the time of the Black Plague. Death is present around every corner and in multiple ways. The adamant determination of Amicia proves to be the force that drives the story forward, and something that not even the plague could thwart. At the end of the launch trailer, you can hear Amicia’s father in the background telling her to protect her younger brother. It’s utterly emotional for a father to tell that to his daughter but it makes everything more real. A Plague Tale: Innocence is a gloomy and dark story, but that gives even more importance to hope, something that sometimes can come in the form of a fire to keep the swarms of rats at bay, or as the strong determination that makes Amicia to never give up.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is coming out tomorrow on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can visit our comparator to find the best prices to buy the game.
