This was my first vertical scrolling shoot-em-up and it’s looking very dated now. I had to learn how to make enemies come on screen at the right time and coding the enemy flight paths, which at
the time was a big challenge for me. It was a tribute to the arcade classic 1942 (and the rest in that series), which were truly gold.
