About

March 29th, 2009

This is my site, and I’m Terry Paton.

I like to keep pretty private so I won’t give away too much, but I love what I do and I enjoy putting it on the net and the reactions they get. Sometimes people hate the stuff I do, sometimes they love it. I hope at least your entertained a bit while your here.

I make games, paint, play with lego, draw, make some music and a bunch of other stuff too!

If you’d like to get in contact with me, terry at terrypaton dot com – but I’m pretty busy, so please be patient!
Enjoy my site!

    Hi!

I’ve just played with one of your games called Kick It, and I find that I don’t have 10 kicks in it, but only 5 because it counts like 1,3,5,7,9 per 10 kicks. What’s the reason of that?

Hi, Just a quick comment about 3D Deathrace.

The Steering inputs are incorrect for the motorcycle. At speed, motorcycles (and bicycles) use what is known as “countersteering” or “push steering” so that the front wheel is turned in the direction opposite to the desired direction of travel. If you were to turn the bars like the game on an actual motorcycle, you would travel in the wrong direction.

Terry – great job on the Break It game – Archanoid was one of my favorites as a kid and this is a great version of that classic. I wanted to let you know about a bug I found, however. In Stage 17, the ball bounced to the right hand vertical wall, and got trapped between the roof and an unbreakable grey block. Had to start over. Figured I’d let you know if you’re still debugging it.

Thanks again for a great game.

You should put Gem and other games on nonoba! I would but on nonoba you have achievments so you have to be the develepor to put achievments in. Idk how to, but it tells how on the forum.

Thanks very much for the tip, I think I might look into it further as it really adds some great stuff to the games!
    Cheers!

    Terry,

I have been playing Solitaire for quite some time now and had almost 1,700 games completed. This morning when I went to play the counter had reset to zero. I played two games before I noticed. Can you fix this? How do I get my status back? What caused this so that I can avoid this in the future?

    Thanks.

Oh, Terry, very good job. I found myself adicted to some of them!!! I love the naif and simplicity of all of them, which is a virtue in these times of too much violence and visual effects in the majority of the games in the market.

Thank you very much for let us enjoy your work, it’s really kind of you. Go ahead, Terry! And thaks again for these very pleasant moments you provide me.

Is there some way to save the high scores from your games? I have seen other websites doing this and they appear to be using your games so I was curious if this was something they all do or if it is only select ones and if so what is the post URL or whatever that is needed to do this?

  17. March 26th, 2009 at 11:45 | #17

Hmm posted that comment yesterday but it says I did today? Odd but anyway I guess for now I am just going to try to use Tamperdata to try and find the info I need. Please send me an email to the address in my comment if you get a chance.

    Hi,

Very nice website and very cool games, especially the Ice Age Bubble Trouble! Congratulations for the integration with Facebook also.

I have a minor question – what is the song in the Bubble Trouble game? Can it be bought somewhere?

    Best regards,
    Ivan

Hi ya, generally if there are high scores in my game, the games use the same system where ever they are. I haven’t applied it to all my games, and I as this is a fairly new system to me (about 8 months), there are quite a few of my games out on the net with out high scores in them. Not sure if that makes sense.

Hi ya, thanks for the website and thanks for the compliment. I just got back from 2 weeks holiday so I’ll keep this short as I haven’t sat down yet. The music track in the game was supplied to us by the client we made it for (we as in the company I work for). And sorry I don’t know the name of it as it was supplied as a mp3 file (which I can’t legally share).

    Cheers,
    Terry@Ivan

What did you do to break it 3. I think the fireworks have made the game choppy. The ball speeds up and slow down.
