It’s my birthday!

January 31st, 2009

Hooray! Today I turn 35 years old, if I live till 70 (my families history is generally to around the 70-80s) then you could say I am halfway through my life. Deep indeed. This last week has been quite interesting (or should I say crap), my girlfriend was in hospital for 2 days, my mother told me she has bowel cancer, and things just didn’t feel right. Well that’s life I guess.
What are my reflective thoughts for this year? Life needs to be lived, grabbed and gotten the most out of, don’t let people tell you who to be, or how to live. Instead strive on your own path, but keep it in balance or the monkeys in your mind will take over. There we go, that’s as deep as I’ll get.

On a lighter note, my girlfriend bought me two sets of Lego, totaling over 4400 peice’s in all, it’s fanatastic! Thanks Corrina, I love you.
Here’s a shot of one of the boxes emptied out …

And then as I’ve started building it …

And seeing I haven’t put a photo of my mice in quite a while, so here’s one of ‘peanut’, or at least her cute little face.

Rock on!
